What’s the difference between MBT, Joya and kyBoots, which are, after all, all developed by Mr Müller? What shoes, if any, are suitable and why? Some orthopaedic shoe makers recommended wearing Joya shoes. Walking in them is comfortable, but the knees bend inwards a lot, even with insoles.
Joya is a blend of MBT and kyBoot. MBT shoes are rolling shoes which hold your feet unyieldingly. In kyBoot your feet are held softly, and can move in three dimensions. The feet themselves perform the rolling motion. In MBTs the rolling sole does this. kyBoot provide the most intensive exercise for stability towards the sides of the feet; the Joya somewhat less. In kyBoot we recommend applying pressure on your sole evenly. Your legs are placed at a healthy angle, and your knees knock together less. This is often related to weak feet, so your kybun foot exercise should also make your knees stabler.
